As a physical interception product, the magnetic lock uses a magnet to hold the iron block to achieve the purpose of locking the door, and this magnet is generated by the magnetism of the energized coil. When the power is turned off, the magnetism disappears and the door opens.

What exactly is it like?
1. In terms of details, according to the difference in the use environment, the requirements for the magnetic lock to withstand the pulling force are also very different.

2. There are embedded electromagnetic locks and hanging electromagnetic locks;
3. There are single door and double door magnetic lock;
4. Generally, electricity is received from the automatic door operator.

5. Built-in surge absorber, what is this thing for? Because the magnetism generated by electromagnetic induction will not disappear immediately due to power failure, which is very inconvenient for opening the door. .
6. The force of the electromagnetic lock and the adsorption iron plate must be face-to-face and pressurized in a straight line, so the suction force of the electromagnetic lock is the largest. The adsorption iron plate may be temporarily magnetized due to the magnetic induction of the electromagnet for a long time.

Advantages of magnetic locks:
1. As long as a small current electromagnetic lock will generate a great magnetic force, the access control system that controls the power supply of the electromagnetic lock will turn off the power after identifying the correct person, and the electromagnetic lock will lose its suction to open the door. Because the electromagnetic lock has no complicated mechanical structure and the structure of the lock tongue, it is suitable for the access control of the escape door or the fire door. Its interior is protected by infused epoxy resin.
2. Indoor magnetic locks are widely used in important buildings at home and abroad, and have become an important part of high-tech access control management systems that cannot be ignored. Compared with traditional locks, its advantages are strong suction, low power consumption, stable and reliable quality. Monitor signal feedback output, prevent external damage, no noise, and have the advantages of fire protection and anti-theft characteristics.
Disadvantages of electromagnetic lock:
1. The ambient air temperature should not exceed 40 ℃, the coil will heat up when energized, and the high ambient temperature will reduce the coil current, the tensile force of the magnetic lock will be reduced, and the high temperature will also affect its service life;
2. The humidity should not be greater than 95%, the iron block and lock body will rust, which will reduce the tensile force and reduce the service life.
After using the magnetic lock for a period of time, there will be some problems due to various reasons. What should we do in the face of these failures? Common magnetic lock failures and solutions are shared with you.

9. There is no action with the controller

a. Check whether there are rubber gaskets installed;
b. Check the iron plate end to see if the screws are too loose;
c. Check whether the distance between the magnetic lock body and the suction plate is appropriate.
2.the iron plate is not strong
a. Check whether the "power and voltage" 1A/12V/24V output of the power supply is reduced;
b. Check whether there are foreign objects (such as dust, rust deposits, foreign objects, etc.) on the surface of the magnet.
3. The magnetic lock iron plate needs to be adjusted frequently
a. Check whether the iron plate is equipped with pins;
b. Check whether the iron plate is equipped with a rubber pad;
c. It is recommended that customers apply "screw fixative" to the screws.
4. After the iron plate is absorbed, it feels a slight vibration
a. Check whether the main surface of the magnetic lock and the iron plate are completely attracted and there is no foreign matter, or loosen the iron plate and try;
b. Check whether the voltage and current are sufficient;
5. The delay function is invalid
a. The "delay adjustment" of the magnetic lock starts timing after the power is turned on, not after closing the door;
b. The delay time of the magnetic lock is 0, 3, 6, and 9 seconds. Check if the time is set to 9 seconds.
6. After the power is turned on, the LED light is slightly bright and cannot be absorbed
Check whether the voltage is sufficient to supply the electromagnetic lock requirements (1A current/12V voltage should be supplied).
7. After the power is turned on, the red LED light is always on, but the green light is not on
It may be that the induction element of the magnetic lock is damaged and needs to be replaced.
8. The double-door magnetic lock cannot be absorbed after using it for a period of time.
The double-door magnetic lock consumes a lot of power, check whether the power supply is sufficient (whether it is sufficient for the current and voltage required by the double-door electromagnetic lock, or whether there is line loss).
9. There is no action with the controller
Check that the controller "output" contacts are correct.
