There are several reasons why the electric mortise lock head cannot be lowered:
The operator sets the door to the normally open state in the access control software.
The door open button is stuck and stays pressed all the time.
The voltage is not enough, or there is no voltage (for example, the line is broken, or the power supply is broken, etc.).
The magnetic piece is too far away from the lock head or the door is not closed properly, the magnetic piece and the lock head are not vertically corresponding, but offset, and the lock head cannot sense it.
The electric lock has a delay, and the lock will not come down until the delay is over. The delay of the electric mortise lock can be set to 0-9 seconds, generally no delay is set, and the delay is 0 seconds.
The electric lock is broken.
There are several reasons why the electric mortise lock cannot be locked:
The operator has set the door to normally closed state in the access control software.
The lock head may be stuck, for example: dust has entered the lock body, or the mechanical design process is defective and jammed. (This situation is relatively bad, but it usually does not happen. Note that the electric lock should not be installed on the ground. It should be installed on the top of the door. It is not easy to get dust. Choose an electric lock with a good brand reputation.)
