Elevator access control, also known as elevator control, is mainly used to control the access authority of the elevator. Only after the authorization card is swiped on the card reader can the designated floor be reached.
1. Classification of bladder control
Since the elevator access control board is an access control, in principle it uses a relay to control the on-off of the circuit, which is essentially a switch. There are two control methods for elevator control, one is general control, that is, as long as the authorization card is swiped, it can reach any control floor. The other is sub-control, which can authorize to certain (or some) specific floors and can choose to go to the designated floors after swiping the card. The elevator control of the main control only needs one relay, and the sub-control needs as many relays as there are floors. Therefore, the method of sub-control requires a higher cost. In addition, according to whether it is connected to a network cable, it can be divided into networked ladder control and offline ladder control. The advantage of networked elevator control is that it can realize online authorization, real-time control, and real-time display of operating status. The disadvantage is that it is inconvenient to lay network cables on the ladder shaft. The offline authorization of the management card is used for offline elevator control. The advantage is that there is no need to lay network cables, and the installation is convenient. The disadvantage is that it is impossible to check the running status and access data in real-time. I only explain the offline ladder control. The use of networked ladder control is more convenient. If you understand the offline ladder control, you can understand it by analogy.
2. The composition of the ladder control
The ladder control is generally composed of a control panel, a Wiegand RFID Card Reader(also known as a reader), and a card issuer. It should be noted that the offline elevator control is very convenient to take power. It can support power from 8V to 32V, so it can directly take power from the back panel of the elevator. The online elevator control only supports 12V power, so an external power supply may be required.
3. Ladder control installation method
In short, the elevator control is the floor button in the elevator shaft or the door button outside the floor. Open the elevator button panel, you can find that there are 4 flat wires behind each button, one of the 4 flat wires is the positive pole of the 12V power supply (usually red), find it, and it is what we want to control.
1) Wiring of master control ladder control
Cut off the 12V positive poles of all the floor buttons to be controlled from the middle, connect the two ends to a wire, and then connect the outgoing wires of the stringed wires to the NC and COM terminals of the elevator control board. Why are they connected to NC and COM? As for the terminal, safety factors must be considered, because connecting to NC and COM means that the line is connected by default when the elevator control board is powered off, that is, the elevator button can be pressed, so that even if the elevator control board is broken, it will not work. Yes, the elevator can still operate according to the original logic. Some people may ask, what is the use of installing the elevator control, don't worry, although the line is connected to NC and COM, but we can pre-set in the elevator control software that NO and COM are connected, NC and COM are connected. COM is disconnected, so that only after swiping the card, NC and COM will be connected, and the purpose of control is realized.
2) Wiring of separate control ladder control
The difference from the master control type is that after the 12V power cord behind each elevator button is cut off, its two ends are respectively connected to the NC and COM terminals of the relay specified on the elevator control board, and they must be connected in sequence, such as connecting to the first floor. One relay, the second floor is connected to the second relay, and so on, if there is a skipped floor in the middle, the corresponding relay should also be skipped on the elevator control board.
