How an access control card reader works The card reader emits electromagnetic waves at a fixed frequency. The frequency is usually 13.56MHZ. When the proximity card enters the electromagnetic wave radiation range of the card reader, the coil on the proximity card reader will be triggered. Generate an electric current and trigger the antenna on the proximity card, send a signal with the card information to the card reader, the card reader converts the liquid level signal into a digital serial number, sends it to the local controller, and the local controller uploads the information . Finally, the superior controller is uploaded to the access control server, and the access control server compares the card number with the information in the database to obtain all card information.
The installation method of the access control card reader first selects the installation location, and the metal that stops on the metal has a shielding effect. If the card reader is installed on the metal, it will emit radio waves and be blocked by the metal. The installation environment of the card reader must be accepted during the installation process. For example, when installing a card reader, a plastic plate should be installed over the metal plate on the back of the card reader. Secondly, the distance between the two card readers should not be less than 30/cm. When the distance between the two card readers is too close, the two card readers will emit radio waves at the same time, so that the radio waves interfere with each other. The card is slower, and if you are too close, the card will not be read. If conditions do not permit, a shield can be added on one of the readers.
