What is RFID door lock?

An RFID door lock is a type of electronic lock that you access using credentials like key fobs or key cards that are powered by RFID technology. RFID (radio frequency identification) technology uses electromagnetic fields to enable communication between two devices: tags and readers.

How do RFID lockers work?

A charge is emitted by the radio signals sent out by the reader. This charge is received by the tag and it, in turn, sends back an identification signature to start the unlocking procedure. If the reader recognized the ID signature, the lock will open, otherwise, the door or locker will stay closed.
