According to the communication mode of the controller and management computer in the access control all-in-one machine, it is divided into: RS485 networked access control all-in-one machine, TCP/IP network access control all-in-one machine, and non-networked access control all-in-one machine.
1. Non-network access control all-in-one machine, that is, stand-alone control access control all-in-one machine, is a machine that manages one door. It cannot be controlled by computer software, nor can it see the records. It is directly controlled by the controller. It is characterized by low price, simple installation and maintenance, and cannot check records. It is not suitable for places with more than 50 people or frequent turnover of people (referring to people who often enter and leave), and it is not suitable for projects with more than 5 doors.
2. The 485 networked access control all-in-one machine is the type of access control that can communicate with the computer, and is directly managed by software, including card and event control. Therefore, there are convenient management, centralized control, viewing of records, analysis and processing of records for other purposes. The feature is that the price is relatively high, and the installation and maintenance are more difficult, but the training is simple, and value-added services such as attendance can be provided. It is suitable for projects with many people, high mobility and many doors.
3. TCP/IP network access control all-in-one machine, also called Ethernet network access control all-in-one machine, is also an access control system that can be connected to the Internet, but the computer and the controller are connected to the network through a network cable. In addition to all the advantages of 485 access control networking, it also has faster speed, simpler installation, larger number of networking, and cross-regional or cross-city networking. However, there are high equipment prices and knowledge of computer networks is required. It is suitable for installation in large-scale projects, large number of people, speed requirements, and cross-regional projects.

Function

Wiring construction
1. 12VDC power cord, the line between the 12VDC power supply and the access control all-in-one machine is recommended to use a two-core wire with a diameter of more than 1.0 square millimeters.
2. Exit button line: the line between the exit button and the port of the access control all-in-one machine. It is recommended to use a two-core line with a diameter of more than 1.0 square millimeters.
3. Electric lock wire: the wire between the electric lock and the access control all-in-one machine port, it is recommended to use a two-core power cord with a wire diameter of more than 1.0 square millimeters. If it exceeds 50 meters, use a thicker wire, or connect multiple strands in parallel; or increase the output voltage to about 14V through the fine-tuning button of the power supply. The longest length should not exceed 100 meters.
4. Door contact wire: The line between the door contact and the controller port, it is recommended to choose a two-core wire with a diameter of more than 0.5 square millimeters. If you don’t need to know the switch status of the door online or don’t need the door to be closed for a long time to alarm and illegal break-in If the alarm function is enabled, the door magnet wire can be left unconnected.
5. Card reader line: the line between the card reader and the port of the access control all-in-one machine. It is recommended to use 8-core shielded multi-strand twisted-pair network cables (two cores are spare, if you do not need the sound and light feedback of the card reader, the legal card can not be connected to the LED line and the buzzer line), the data lines Data1/Data0 are mutually twisted pairs, the wire diameter It is recommended that it be more than 0.5 square millimeters, and the longest length should not exceed 100 meters. The shielded wire should be connected to the GND of the controller.
