Why not let the user do the initialization?
This is because:
A. If it is initialized by the user itself, it cannot prevent cheating by internal users. The initialization process is carried out in the manufacturer, which is mainly the basic requirement of the IC card security key authentication mechanism, and also the industry regulation of the IC card system integrator. Just like urban public transport IC cards, the keys of each card are encrypted before they are handed over to the bus system.
d. If the key card used for initial authorization is lost due to the user's lack of professional management, the user and the manufacturer will not be able to replace the card. Therefore, the initialization work is done by the manufacturer, so that there is security.
3.Comparison between IC card system and ID card system
a.security: the security of IC card is far greater than that of ID card. ID card number read without any permission, easy imitation. The reading and writing of the recorded data in the IC card need the corresponding password authentication, and even each area of the card has different password protection, comprehensive protection of data security, IC card write data password and read data password can be set to be different, providing a good hierarchical management mode, to ensure system security.
b. Recordability: The ID card cannot write data, and its record content (card number) can only be written by the manufacturer at one time, and the developer can only read the card number for use. IC card can not only be read by authorized users, but also by authorized users to write a large number of data (such as the new card number, the user's authority, user information, etc.), IC card recorded content can be repeatedly erased.

G. Cost performance:
Although the ID card and its card reader is cheaper than the IC card and its card reader, but from the composition of the whole card system (wiring cost, structure composition), the price of the two systems is comparable, and the IC card system is more stable and reliable than the ID card system, so the cost performance of the IC card system is much higher than the ID card system.
