The card reader emits electromagnetic waves at a fixed frequency. The frequency is generally 13.56MHZ. When the induction card enters the electromagnetic wave radiation range of the card reader, it will trigger the coil on the induction card, generate current and trigger the antenna on the induction card to read the card. The card reader transmits a signal with card information, the card reader converts the level signal into a digital serial number and transmits it to the local controller, and the local controller uploads the information to the upper controller. Finally, it is uploaded to the access control server, and the access control server compares the card number with the information in the database to obtain all the card information.
An access control card reader is a device used to read the data in the card. Its role is to read the identity information that identifies the entrant. Usually, the identity information can be a card number, personal password, two-dimensional code or other information used to identify and prove personal identity. When the cardholder needs to pass the access control, after the card swipe, password or QR code comparison is successful, the card reader will send this signal from the access control controller to the access control platform.
The access control card reader emits electromagnetic waves at a fixed frequency when it is working. The importance of the access control card reader to the access control system is self-evident. The induction coil in the access control card chip will trigger a current and transmit it to the card reader. A signal to send a release instruction to the access control controller, the selected access control card reader is related to the security of the system, and the signal contains the card information of the access control card.
2. Card issuer
The card issuer is a tool for reading and writing cards, but it is different from the reader, card reader or reading head. The card issuer can read, write, authorize, format and other operations. The main function is to initialize the card, register and cancel the card in the access control system.
The main functions of the card issuer are:
1. The USB interface takes electricity and communicates without external power supply, and the working status is indicated by light and sound.
2. Set the user card swiping authority, the validity period or the number of times of use.
3. Set and modify the area code, date clock, unlocking time, blacklist processing, etc. of the controller by setting the management card.
The card issuer is a tool for reading and writing cards, but it is different from the reader and card reader, because the card issuer can also perform operations such as writing, reading, and formatting. One is an ID card issuer, one is an IC card issuer, and the other is an RFID card reader. The ID card issuer only has the function of reading the card and can only play the role of the reading head. The IC card issuer has the function of reading and writing cards. The RFID card issuer is produced to cooperate with users or other management centers for card issuance management.
