1. How to connect and install the fingerprint time attendance machine with the computer, you first need to find out what communication interface the fingerprint time attendance machine itself has. Generally, the fingerprint time attendance machine is connected with a USB cable, RS232/485 (serial port), TCP/IP (RJ45 port) kind. Then there are correspondingly the above three communication methods in the computer software. If you buy a serial port or USB port fingerprint time attendance machine, it usually comes with an RS232 line and a USB line.
2. If your attendance machine has a USB port, plug the USB cable into the attendance machine and the USB port of the computer, open the software, and select the USB connection method, and it will be successful.
3. By analogy, if it is a serial port or a network cable interface, set the relevant parameters, open the software, select the serial port or network cable interface connection method, and the connection is successful.
4. After the installation is complete, first enter the fingerprints of the personnel who need attendance, press and hold the menu button, and then press the OK button for a total of three times. Then press the esc key, and then press OK to proceed to the next person's fingerprint. After finishing, remember to set the administrator, the method is the same as above.
5. After installing the software, connect the attendance machine to the computer. After the connection is successful, you can download the personnel information from the device, download the employee recruitment information, and change the corresponding number to the corresponding name, and save it after completion. Let’s talk about uploading personnel information to the device. Set the time under Time Period Maintenance.
6. If you change the administrator and cannot enter the menu button of the attendance machine, you can connect the attendance machine to the computer and click "Clear Administrator" to clear it.
How to set up fingerprint time attendance machine
1. Power on the attendance machine, turn on the machine, and make the machine in normal working condition.
2. On the operation panel of the time attendance machine, press the main menu [MENU] - [User Management] - [User Registration] - [Fingerprint Registration], the screen prompts "New registration?" Job number, enter and press [OK] to confirm, at this time the screen prompts: "Please put your finger".
3. Pay attention when placing your fingers, and the person to be collected must stand upright relative to the attendance machine. Put 2/3 of the full fingertip from the fingertip on the collector glass, do not slide your finger, press gently and firmly, remove the finger when you hear a "beep", and do the same for the second and third press , press 3 times to collect a complete fingerprint.
4. After pressing 3 times, press [OK] to save. At this point the screen prompts: 'New registration? 'We can press the [ESC] key to perform backup registration, and each employee can collect at least 2 fingerprints in case one of them is worn out.
5. After the backup is completed, press [OK] to save. At this time, the screen prompts: "Continue to backup?" If you want to continue the backup, please press [OK], and to end the backup, please press [ESC], and the next employee's fingerprint register.
6. After the fingerprint registration is completed, the registered finger can be used for fingerprint attendance. Just follow the pressing method when collecting fingerprints. After pressing, the screen displays the employee's job number, accompanied by a machine voice prompt "thank you". If the pressing is unsuccessful, there will be a voice prompt "Please press your finger again", at this time, please press your finger again or replace it with another finger.
7. In step 6 above, we only saw the employee's job number, but not the name. In fact, the employee's name can be displayed. Please follow the steps below.
8. Install the attendance management system on the computer. Put in the installation CD, follow the screen prompts to install, pay attention to change the program installation path to D disk.
9. Connect the attendance machine with the computer. There are four direct connection methods between the attendance machine and the computer: RS232, RS485, TCP/IP, and USB data lines.
10. Open the attendance management system, select the device name and the corresponding connection method, and the connection is successful.
